**Reviewers note: I say Avery Duncan at least once. 🙁 I seem to do this a lot. Sorry.**
Josh has commitment goals oozing out of his pores yet he only seems to attract the bad boys, the players, who can smell it off of him immediately. Through a high endorsement he accepts a position as a lead for Israeli Pilgrims where he’ll be leading a group of 20 + year olds.
Yaron is the security of Israeli Pilgrims and from how Josh describes him, sex on legs. Only Yaron is still holding on to a past lover. Although he’s attracted to Josh in more than the physical sense he can’t seem to let go of the past and accept a new future.
It takes a long separation for both of them to realize exactly what they desire in life and then have the gumption to go after it.
Brandon is Jacob’s cousin. Jacob is married to Nica who is Tino’s sister. Tino was the MC in Mannies #1. (Probably a good idea to read the first book-not follow in my footsteps.)
Brandon is living over Jacob and Nica’s garage. After coming out to his parents he left their house and made himself a new home. One that is accepting of him. He’s a college student and works construction to help support himself.
Taylor is Nica’s best friend. He’s a military veteran that still lives in the past. He sees all his failures and has a hard time accepting that he could be any good to anyone. Then Nica becomes pregnant with her fifth child and Taylor finds his way to becoming the manny.
Brandon and Taylor get off to a rocky start but after a guys night out they slowly start to move forward. It’s an uphill struggle but one that Brandon’s determined to help Taylor with all the way.
